Charles of Athens, Ohio, born in Whitwell, Tennessee, who passed away on July 16, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest A Higgins and Mary E. Panter Higgins; and her husband James G. Charles. She is survived by: her children, B. Reanae Bumgardner (Mike), Gary Vincent Charles (Christina) and James Matthew Charles; her grandchildren, Mary, Donald, James, Craig, Skye, Cierra, Allie, Gary, Jamie, Myriah, Taylor, Mackenzie, Austin, Nicholas and Brandon; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Keaton, Kyle, Christopher, Emma, Olivia, Maggie, Wyatt, River, Cooper, Rhett of Draiden, MJ, Nicole, Stormy, Echo, Hazel, Jasper, Serenity, Austin Jr. and Jamal. She is also survived by 11 brothers and sisters.
