He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bail and Lucille Bail; his wife Martha Bail; his children, Jerry Brent Bail and Tamera Gay Gabriel; his brother Charles "Buzz" Bail; his brothers-in-law, James Tedrow and Robert "Sheldon" Rowan; and his parents-in-law, William and Ethel Finnearty.
He is survived by: his children, Dianna Hunter (Chuck) and Tim Bail (Jane); his son-in-law Blaine Gabriel of Athens; his grandchildren, Michael Bail (Monica) of The Plains, Mathew Hunter (Emily) of Indianapolis, IN, Eric Gabriel (Misty) of Winston Salem, NC, Shawn Bail (Rachel) of New Marshfield, Molly Jenkins-Bail (Elizabeth) of Columbus, Nicole Waltz (Tom) of Brighton, CO, Chelsea Thompson (Kevin) of Las Vegas, NV, Trent Gabriel (Emily) of Athens and Frank Bail (Bryce) of Albany; his siblings, Donna Tedrow, Nancy Wolfe, Clara Rowan and John Bail (Ruth); and his sisters-in-law, Lenora Champlin and Judy Bail. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jagers & Sons Funeral Home (24 Morris Ave, Athens, OH 45701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
