She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Smith and Ella Smith; her brothers, Jack and Clarence Smith; and her grandson Morgan Lee.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Lee; her children, Mark Lee (Glynis), Hilarie Burhans (Mark), Stacy Lee (Nick) and Neal Lee (Jennifer); and also Alemu Shura (Askale). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
