She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Copeland and Kathryn Baker Copeland; and her brothers-in-law, Chuck Wingett and Brent Perry. She is survived by: her husband Danny Sams; her daughter Cara Hartman (Derek); and her siblings, Jim Copeland (Judy), Don Copeland (Norma), Rosealee Wingett and Flora Perry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
