It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Buck of Athens, Ohio, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine Buck to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Moon" Vercoe and Martha Estella Wingett Vercoe; her stepmother Anna Belle Vercoe; her husband James R. Buck; and her brother James M. Vercoe.
She is survived by: her children, Christy Nisley (Scott) of Athens and Randy Buck (Nancy) of Seabrook Island, SC; her grandchildren, Stephanie Nisley, Lisa Reckert (Brett), Andrew Nisley, Brittany Buck and James Buck; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Adalyn, Carter and Olivia Reckert.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Shade Community Center, 2380 Old State Route 33, Shade Ohio 45776.
