Carolyn Calentine Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Calentine of Athens, Ohio, born in Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leyme and Helen Rost Leyme; her husband Homer L. Calentine; her siblings, Dorothy Corbin (Marty), Ruth Shuman (Clare) and Jimmy Leyme; and her siblings-in-law, Eileene Dailey (Dewey), Beulah McGee (Oscar) and Robert Calentine (Betty).
She is survived by: her daughters, Jacquie Loschert (Randy) of Georgetown, KY, Jeannie Samples of Athens, Jennie Coen of Shade and Jodie Howe (Ward) of Albany; her grandchildren, Jessica Martin, Abigail Snyder (Stuart), Lance Loschert (Amanda Griffin), Shawn Samples, Zachary Coen (Cara Mowery), Hannah Kelbaugh (Denise), Mitchell Daugherty (Jenielle) and Austin Daugherty; and her great grandchildren, Brant Martin (Larry), Kaden Martin (Lauren Wiggins), Clark, Shepard, Sara Kate, Bennett Snyder, Kendall and Audrey Daugherty.
