It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Savage of Athens, Ohio, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 7, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Hall Savage; his parents, Robert and Mildred (Rekau); and his siblings, Warren Savage and Leona Csokmay.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Savage, Carl Savage (Rebecca), Michael Savage (Lynn Cullison) and Michelle Schall (Steven); his grandchildren, Christina Beam, Amanda Schall, Tyler Savage and Grant Savage; his great grandchildren, Skylar Whipkey, Audrey Beam, Jack Beam and Luke Savage; and his close friend Theresa Boudreaux.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Athens Red Cross or the Athens County Food Bank.
