We bid farewell to Beverly J. Hornsby of Athens, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 23, 2025 at the age of 82. Beverly touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Antonio E.; her sister Marie McAuliffe; her aunt Marie Matton; and her cousin Joan Matton. She is survived by: her husband Edward L. Hornsby; her children, Chris Buck (Stephen) of Greenfield, Joyce McCarty (Joe) of Magnetic Springs and Edward Hornsby, Jr. (Emily) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Lindsey Ludwig (Matthew), Shelby Tobin (Christopher), Kasey McCarty (Ashley), Chelsey Ramos (Damion), Rochelle Guisinger (Logan), Edward Hornsby III (Hannah) and Rathana Hornsby; and her sister Ann Wilkins (Bill) of Salisbury, MA.. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jagers & Sons Funeral Home (24 Morris Ave, Athens, OH 45701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
