He is survived by: his son Todd Fortner (Nancy); his grandchildren, Ashley and Zeke Fortner (Rachel); his great grandchild Jackson Reid Fortner; his brother Chet Fortner (Arlene); and his sister-in-law Gretchen Fortner.
