It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Weldon Queen of Ashville, Ohio, born in Wayne, West Virginia, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley A. Queen and Virgie Queen (Slate); and his siblings, Elijah Queen and Maggie Gibson. He is survived by: his friend Richard Meade; his wife Lois Eileen Queen (Asbury); his son Rickey Queen (Jane); his grandson Austin Jay Queen (Kate); his great grandchildren, Layton Jay Queen and Lane Charles Queen; his siblings, Albert "Duke" Queen (Phyllis), Marcalene Aldridge (Walter), Ernestine Vaughn (Golden) and Sally Wilks; and his sister-in-law Betty Queen.
