He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Jones and Edith Jones (Camink); and his siblings, Robert E. Jones, Herbert Jones, Eleanor Jolly, Marilyn Taylor, Phyllis Miller and Geraldine Ponn.
He is survived by: his wife Janice M. Jones (Harper); his sisters, Marcella Newvahner-Jackson and Florace Morrow (Don) of Columbus; and his sister-in-law Nancy Evers (Curtis) of Chillicothe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Richard's memory be given to the South Bloomfield Methodist Church, 5027 2nd Street, South Bloomfield, Oh. 43103.
