It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matt Hackney of Ashville, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Rita Mae Hackney; and his father-in-law William Douglas Young. He is survived by: his wife Susan R. Hackney (Fitchpatrick); his children, Nick Hackney (Rachael), Kaitlin Howell (Ken), Michael Hackney, Jacob Pope (Kelsi) and Kolten Johnson; his father-in-law Buddy Fitchpatrick; his aunts, Connie and Jenny; his cousin Penny; and also, Cora, Lily Howell, Paislee and Colt Pope.
