We bid farewell to Jay E. Parsley of Ashville, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 5, 2024 at the age of 83. Jay touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Jay may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Parsley and Virgie Lee; and his daughter Tiffany Eve Parsley (Sindy Parsley). He is survived by: his children, Solomon Parsley (Rachelle), Nathan Parsley and Rachel Courts. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shadeville Church of God (4800 Lockbourne Rd, Columbus, OH 43207). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
