He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. Peters and Mary Alice Peters (Scothorn); and his sister Marian Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia A. Peters (Butman); his sons, David E. Peters, Andrew J. Peters (Wendy) and Nathan W. Peters; and his grandchildren, Kaelen, Abigail and Luke Peters.
