She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Scott and Floria Macel Freeman Scott; her sister Myrna Gene; and her siblings-in-law, Keith D. Hall and Hattie Scott.

She is survived by: her husband John H. McCabe; and her brother Wendell Brent Scott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ashville CCCU.
