She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Vance and Maritie Mae Vance (Baisden); her husband Verlin Sweeney; her daughter Diana Lynn Sweeney; and her siblings, Loma Maynard, Pauline Jarrell, Doris Fields and Esculene Vance.
She is survived by: her children, Verlin Scott Sweeney of Ashville, Stella P. Sweeney of Columbus and Mary Radabaugh of Ashville; and her sisters, Jeri Boggs, Juanita Vance of Chicago, IL and Eunice Wyatt of Cleveland. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
