He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Penberthy and Larnie Penberthy (Byington). He is survived by: his wife Mary K. (Lantz); his children, Lori Helton (Jason), Kelly Murphy (Ken), Jason Penberthy (Brad) and Jordan Penberthy; his siblings, Phyllis Welch, Verna Brown (Bill), Alan Penberthy (Barb) and Wayne Penberthy; his friend Larry Karshner; his close friend Scott Cline; and his caregiver Shannon.

Please, in lieu of flowers, Dennis was not one to buy flowers because they didn't last.
