He was predeceased by: his father Henry Monroe Crites; his brother Edward Crites; and his half-brothers, Meinhardt Crites and George Crites of Circleville. He is survived by: his wife France Crites; and his children, Charles Clinton Crites and Lesa Crites (Leonard Gallenstein). He is also survived by three grandchildren.
