He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Bixler and Marie Bixler (Fosnaugh); his wife Virginia Speakman Bixler; and his brother Wayne Bixler. He is survived by: his children, Mike Bixler (Jinny) of Ashville and Shirley Lowe (Bill) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Chad Lowe (Sherri) of Ashville and Amy McCarthy (Steve) of Lancaster; his great grandchildren, Travis McCarthy of Lancaster, Trista McCarthy (Derek Short) of Lancaster, Cara Lowe and Hunter Lowe (Ashley Moore) of Carroll; and his great great grandchildren, Kinley Beane and Ciara Lowe.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church.
