We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2024, at the age of 78, Violet C. Knapp (Ashtabula, Ohio), born in Erie, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Dewey and Jane Dewey (Henry); and her grandson Mario. She is survived by: her children, Loren Jones (Susanne), Bonnie Knapp, Theresca Knapp and Tiffinnie Knapp; her grandchildren, Shante, LaShae, Kelli, Dennis, Shahara, Johnathon, Marcell, Davaun, Jahmeil, Ryan, Dylan and Matthew; and her siblings, Rev. Dorothy Hillard, Henry Hayes (Charla) and Lee Roy Dean. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
