He was predeceased by: his wife Novilla Frye (Lee); his son Douglas Hare; and his son-in-law Scott Sprague. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Luce (Eric) of Ashtabula, Robin Sprague of Saginaw Michigan, Scott Hare of Cleveland Heights, Leesa Lopez (Wilson) of Ashtabula and Vaughn L. Richmond Jr. of Ashtabula; his grandchildren, Jason Luce (Heather), Sheena Luce (Carl Khlem), Stephanie Slusher, Jenna Bernardo (Rob), Trent Richmond and Leah Richmond; and his great grandchildren, Audrey, Emma, Hannah of Gaige, RJ and Evelyn.
