He was predeceased by: his parents, Menford McCain and Mary Ann Wright (Dixon); his stepfather William Wright; and his siblings, Louis McCain and Helen "Peaches" Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Mitzi; his children, Sheila Jemison, Harry McCain (Harriet), Phillip Wrisley (Telisa), Thomas A. McCain and Christopher McCain (Michelle); and his grandson Raymond Jemison. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
