He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Loudermilk and Margaret Loudermilk (Sunbury); and his siblings, James, Donald, William Loudermilk, Elizabeth Petro and Lois Monroe.

He is survived by: his spouse Carol J. Scott; his children, Rose Marie Freeborn of Ashtabula, Brenda Sochia of San Antonio, TX, Lorraine Sears (Scott) of Austinburg Twp and Jennifer Snyder (Dan) of Geneva Twp; his grandchildren, Kendra, Gary, Jr., Andrea, Brandee, Conrad, Dexter, Ethan, Emily, Cody, Logan and Zakary; his great grandchildren, Kiera, Madison, Harper and Wyatt; his siblings, Harold Loudermilk of Saybrook Twp and Evelyn Osburn of Columbus; and his child Rocky Point Dr.
