Richard Lee Welker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lee Welker of Ashtabula, Ohio, who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Welker and Minnie Welker (Bailes); his former wife Naomi Barnard; his children, Carrie L. Welker and Michael Welker; his grandson Harley Chandler; and his son-in-law Keith Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Hamrick-Welker (Perkins); his children, Richard D. Welker (Tamara), Daniel L. Welker (Bonnie), Melissa Leonard and Lisa Chandler (David); his stepchildren, Brenda Butler (Brian), Kenneth Hamrick (Pil) and Kris Hamrick (Jennifer); and his sister Shirley White. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
