He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Cevera (Joseph), Kendra Thompson-Kumar (Vishal), Matthew Thompson (Jenna) and Wendy Hamilton (David); his brothers, Rodney Thompson and Edward Schlagel; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Stacy, Chris, Suraj, Divya, Julieann, Hailey, Coy, Sophia, Bradlee, Bayleigh, Shayla, Cherish, Charlotte, Tucker, Damian and Darius. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
