She was predeceased by: her parents, John Perkins and Gladys Perkins (Pierce); her spouse Filbert G. Shaffer; her grandson Dalton Shaffer; and her siblings, Charles Perkins, Lucille Perkins, Cynthia Keyes, Timothy Perkins and Bob Perkins.

She is survived by: her son Fil Shaffer, Jr. (Barb); and her siblings, Rebecca Jeffries, James Perkins, Evelyn Beeman, Tommy Perkins, Billy Perkins, Myrtle Welker and Gerald Perkins.
