He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Allgood and Flora Edna Mae Allgood (Taylor); his son Corey Allgood; his grandchildren, Shalisa Renee Allgood and Tyler Grubb; and his siblings, Walter Allgood, William Allgood, Dorothy Reed, Mildred Allgood, Freddie Allgood, Wayne Allgood, Carolyn Allgood-Hill, Arlice Trimble (Maxine), Benita Allgood, Lonnie Allgood and Margie Allgood-Gray.
He is survived by: his wife Arlena Allgood (Murphy); his children, Larry Allgood, Jr. (Beverly) of Rock Hill, James "Darrell" Allgood (Melissa) of Three Way, TN, Sean Allgood (Heather) of Ashtabula and Courtney Danielle Allgood of Kingsville, Ohio; his siblings, Margaret McFarland of Lorain, Linda Allgood of Oberlin and Jackie Allgood of Elyria, Ohio; his uncle Oliver Allgood; and his godchildren, Jay Callaway, Missy Callaway and Darlene Jones. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
