He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J. Smith and Ruth Smith (Calaway); his brothers, Roger and Albert J. Smith, Jr.; his half-sister Shirley McCaughy; and his grandson Logan Ressinbrewer.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Fleckenstein; his daughters, Miranda Smith-Kenney (Christopher) and Sholeena Smith-Ressinbrewer; his granddaughters, Lillian and Abigail Kenney; his brothers, Bruce Smith (Tracey) and Terry Smith (Julie); and his sisters-in-law, Julie Smith-Hollis (Steve) and Jean Anne Smith-Garcia.
