It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Thomas Samay of Ashtabula, Ohio, born in Salem, Ohio, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Samay and Katherine Samay; and his siblings, John Samay, Pauline Rach and Eleanor Stroup.
He is survived by: his brother George Samay of Alliance; his brother-in-law Jack Koras of Lakeside Marblehead; his children, Michele Coss (Tim) of Dublin, Mindy Hardy (Rick) of Lancaster, Melanie Nigro (Tony) of Bath and Rob Samay (Sandy) of Strongsville, Ohio; his grandchildren, David, Johnathan and Jamie Coss; and his children, Delaney, Richard Hardy, Kaitlyn Maley, Amanda Barrett, Anthony Nigro, Brittany and Bret Samay. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
