He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Aponte and Antonia Aponte (Torres); and his daughters, Sonya and Virginia. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Aponte; and his children, Roberto, Jose Jr., Juan, Bryan, Jessica and Ricky. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
