He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Luoma and Elizabeth Schickel (Costa); his son John Jr.; and his sisters, Joanne Tobias and Kathleen Mickelson.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jean Strandman; his sons, Michael Luoma (Julie), William Luoma (Patty) and Leonard Luoma (Yvonne); and his daughter-in-law Caroline Luoma. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
