She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Fitting and Ellen Fitting (Luoma); her former husband Ralph T. Carpenter; and her brother Fred Fitting. She is survived by: her children, Scott A. Carpenter of Ashtabula, Cheryl A. Carpenter of Ashtabula, Leslie E. Anchor (Bob) of Rock Creek, Julie N. Post of Aurora, Randall T. Carpenter of Ashtabula and Connie L. Carpenter of Ashtabula; her grandchildren, Taylor R. Bloom (Mathew), Hillary A. Post (Kyle George), Andrew T. Huang and Laney E. Rood; and her close friend Roel Wolfert.
