It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Tripp of Ashtabula, Ohio, born in Bad Axe, Michigan, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Green-Tripp (Kinney); his stepfather Roland; and his siblings, Jerald, Joseph, John Gill and Jill Newhall.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Weaver-Tripp (Brocklehurst); his son Thomas Tripp; his sister Judy Johnson; his stepsons, Stephen Weaver (Tawny), Mark Weaver (Jeannette) and Barry Weaver; and his grandchildren, Nick Carusso, Stephanie Napolitano, Thomas Nagle, Markus, Michael, Mea, Maura Weaver, Carlye Weaver, Kyle Weaver, Kevin Zortich, Amber Schreck and Ashlee Caruso. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
