We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2022, at the age of 85, James Edward Freisen (Ashtabula, Ohio), born in Youngstown, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred J. Freisen and Dorothy Freisen (O'Brien); his daughter Julie Ann Freisen; and his brother Fred "Fritz" P. Freisen. He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Freisen; his children, Gregory Freisen (Doris), Christine Faler (John), John Freisen (Anne), Margaret Rose (Mark) and Katherine Sposito (Randy); his grandchildren, Olivia Faler, Juliana Freisen, Jason Freisen, Hayley Rose and Christopher Sposito; his sister Margaret "Peggy" McBride; and his sister-in-law Joan Dembrosky.

Memorial contributions can be made to the St. John School or to the Alzheimer's Association.; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
