He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Smith and Teenie Smith (Moon); and his siblings, John Smith, Florence George and Frances Pletcher.
He is survived by: his children, Henry "Ray" Smith, Tom Smith (Barb), Patty Smith, Donna Painter (Glenn) and James Smith; and his close friend Velva Smith. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home (500 W Prospect Rd, Ashtabula, OH 44004). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
