He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Nelson and Nola Skaggs (Clark); and his great grandchildren, Avery and Winston Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Skaggs (Caudill); his children, Brandy Horne and Chad Horne; his grandchildren, Valerie McKissick (Joey Wattunen), Taylor Horne (Michael Hudson) and Sadie Horne (Anthony Shields); and his siblings, Martha Ryan (Jim), Judy Green, Sandy Newsome, Gary Skaggs (Brenda), Linda Hamilton, Aloma Tackett, Sharon Skaggs, Diane Green, Larry Skaggs, Carlos Skaggs and Leon Skaggs. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God (2201 Cook Rd, Ashtabula, OH 44004). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pentecostal Church of God (2201 Cook Rd, Ashtabula, OH 44004).
