He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene J. Nieminen and Helen Nieminen (Bino); and his brother Jamie Nieminen. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nieminen (Taano); his brother Mark Nieminen; his sister-in-law Carol Phillips (Jim); his nephews, Mike Phillips (Christa) and Dan Phillips; his niece Laura Roese (Tyler); and his great-nephews, Emmett, Wyatt, Miles Phillips and Graham Roese.
