She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Mixer and Esther Mixer (McCann); her son Lance Broad; her grandsons, Charles and Jason Brooks; and her siblings, Harold Mixer (Judy), Beverly Stillman (John), Alice Gegen (Steve), Maribelle Shields (David), Lucille Mixer, Daniel Mixer (Kay), Dave Mixer (Marilyn) and Nona Smith (Fred).

She is survived by: her husband Thomas Broad Jr.; and her children, Mark Broad, Sharon Kerns (Stan), Brenda Scafidi (Martin) and Tom Broad (Christine). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
