She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Allen and Wilma Allen. She is survived by: her son Jim Ekensten Jr.; her husband James Ekensten Sr.; her children, Jodi Kozak (Randy), Jill Spellman and Kurt Ekensten (Jennifer); and her sister Carol Pleskof (Michael). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
