He was predeceased by: his parents, John Knight and Cora Knight (Gibson); his wife Wanda Slack; his stepsons, Roger, Michael and Doug; and his siblings, Roy, Walter, Denver, Velma and Della.

He is survived by: his stepsons, Jimmy Stiles, Larry Stiles and Benjamin Smith; and his siblings, Dana, Bernard, Charles, Leonard, Beulah and Linda.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association.
