She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ruohonen and Ellen Ruohonen (Lahtinen); her husband Bud Ecklund; her sons, Jeffrey L. and Kip E. Ecklund; and her siblings, William E. Ruohonen and Esther K. Kish.

She is survived by: her sister Elona Hoffman (David); her daughter-in-law Cheryl; her grandson Kip Richard Ecklund; her great grandchildren, Chelsy, Leah and Jayden Ecklund; her nephews, William C. Ruohonen and Steve Poros; and her niece Pam (Nelson). She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
