She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Peterson (Manley) and Samuel Peterson; and her siblings, Delores Baker, Martha Thomas and Lloyd Abrams.
She is survived by: her siblings, Donna Murphy, Barb Steiner of LaRue, Zelma Hutchinson of Marion, William and Jesse; her husband Merl "Curry" Luke, Sr.; and her children, Jerry Luke, Lisa Hawkins, Merl Luke, Jr. and Gary Luke. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 5 sisters and brothers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family can be made via her daughter, Lisa Hawkins.
