He is survived by: his wife Shirely (Dostie); his children, Lynn Lemmon of Jefferson, Charles Pelton, Jr. (Lucie) of Ashtabula, Wayne Pelton (Cathy) of Jefferson, Mark Pelton of Andover and Lisa Smithberger (David) of Madison; and also Dwight "Butch" Pelton, Jr.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
