She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland and Geneva; and her husband Duane E. Mixer. She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Benson (Kevin Kettlewood), Cindy Peggs (Randy Leszek) and Michelle Chatman (Tiras); her grandchildren, Matthew Steiner, Michael Pendergast, Trey Good, Alexandria Steiner, Leigha Benson, Jaquan Pollard, Terry Benson, III and TJ Chatman; her great grandchildren, Marleigh, Kyla, Raelyn, Ryla and Emirah; and her siblings, Judy Parker, Larry Goodiel (Eileen), David Goodiel and Cheryl Marrison (Tommy).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or to the family.
