He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Peet and Eleanor Peet (Urso); and his brother Albert A. Peet. He is survived by: his wife Connie Peet; his children, Matthew Peet (Amy), Julie Graeb (Terry), Jennifer Stephens (Josh), AJ Forinash (Gwen) and Maureen Massucci (Joe); his grandchildren, Andrew, Alec, Angela Graeb, Blake, Brady, Bryce Peet, Ally, Anna Stephens and Carmen Massucci; and his sister Carlene Olsen (Pete). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
