He was predeceased by: his father Roy Orville George; and his sister Nancy Mack. He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Gersper); his children, Michael McCann (Karen) of Smithfield, Virginia, Kevin McCann (Shelly) of Splendora, Trina Johnston of Laurelville, Sharon Adkins (Ray) of Ashley, Mark George (Angela) of Columbus, Katheryne George of Circleville and Elizabeth Nelson of Greenfield, Maine; his grandchildren, Joe, Willie, Chris, Tommy, Sarah, Jesse, Josh, David, Logan, Michael, Benjamin, Dustin, Melissa, Samantha, William, Darren, Mike, Rebecca and Matthew; and his brother Roy Orville George Jr. of Marengo. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
