He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Warren Zimmerman and Alice Lou Mitchell (Patingale); his daughter Michelle Jones; and his brother William Mitchell. He is survived by: his former spouse William Thomas "Bill" Mitchell; his wife Pamela Mitchell; his daughters, Bobbie Jo Hooper (Robert) and Allison Manley (Jeff); his grandchildren, Callie Glass (Rick), Dillan Hooper (Erica), Emily Hooper, Katelyn Ansley (Levi), Jacob Jones, Andrew Spry (Jada), Taylor, Mason Miracle and Madilyn Manley; his great grandchildren, Bradleigh, Emmalyn Glass, Jackson Schnars, Charlotte "Charlie", Francis "Frankie", Wilma "Billie" Hooper, Lucas, Ivan Ansley, Elizabeth Jones and Niko Spry; his brother Robert Mitchell (Sue); his sister-in-law Patricia Mitchell; and his half-sister Sherry Powers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
