He is survived by: his mother Helen Shumate of Delaware; his close friend Donald Hopler; his significant other Debbie May (Curtis); his children, Curtis May (Loretta) of Ashley, Ray May (Adrian) of Marion and Amber Stone (Shane Jackson) of Marion; his stepson Eric Lyons of Cardington; and his siblings, Sherry Akers (Donnie) of Delaware, Kim Cordery (Mick) of Delaware, Jimmy Shumate (Laurie) of Fl and Steve Shumate (Sherry) of Galena. He is also survived by 15 grandkids, many nieces and nephews.
