He was predeceased by: his father Arnold Howard; and his sister-in-law Sally Howard. He is survived by: his mother Nadean Howard (Reed); his wife Linda Kay (Hamman); his daughters, Sheri McGovern (Kent) of Jeromesville and Shana Lentz (Jason) of Springfield, Ohio; his grandchildren, Kate McGovern, Emily McGovern, Noel Wilkins, Lily Wilkins, Leah Lentz and Maia Lentz; and his siblings, Norm Howard of Scottsdale, Erv Howard (Neva) of Ashland, David Howard of Plymouth, Randy Howard of Plymouth and Pam Howard of Plymouth, Ohio..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Zeke's name to the Ashland County Cancer Association or Hospice of North Central Ohio.
