He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl S. Neer and Fern Neer (Lambright); his siblings, James, Jerry Neer, Shirley Wolf, Phyllis Blamer Wattle and Nancy Evans Ault; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Ann Neer Griebling, Ken Ault, Cecil Wattle and Richard Fox.
He is survived by: his wife Irmogene "Gene" Neer (Dick); his children, Jennifer Asbury (Terry) of Leawood, KS, Thomas Neer (Morag) of Virginia Beach, Debra Hoffman of Cuyahoga Falls, Ronald Neer (Theda) of West Salem and Anne Britton (Scott) of Mishawaka, IN; his grandchildren, Anne Rodriguez (Alex Parness), Debbie Galgani, Tracy Neer, Elizabeth Burchette (Anthony), Stasia Hoffman (Jon Yavaniski), Christen Hoffman (Jake Ambrose), Kara Gorglione (Joe), Kayla Repp (Logan), Bobby Neer (Devon), Karla Hall (Andy), William Britton, Timothy Britton, Samuel Britton, Abigail Britton Koontz (Thomas) and Leah Britton; and his siblings-in-law, Bernard Wolf (Donna) of Ashland, Nancy Neer of Ashland and Elsie Fox of Greenwich. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
